HAPPY LATE THANKSGIVING AND ITS BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT
LIKE CHRISTMAS!!!!
Well Thanksgiving was great but I'll admit I still liked it
better in the MTC! But Ya our day started pretty normal with Studies and it was
cool I read two conference talks that went along great with Thanksgiving the
first from President Eyring called Gratitude on the Sabbath and to remember to
be Thankful every time we partake of the Sacrament and for having the gift of
the Holy Ghost anyways it was super great! then I also read the President
Nelson Talk called Joy and Spiritual Survival. He says the word JOY so many
times that I circled it every time I saw it and it filled the page... I should
have counted how many times but that just gives you the excuse to read it and
to count how many times and let me know!!!
Then we went to this single women's home and she made us
yummy Thai Peanut chicken strips in this yummy peanut butter type sauce I
thought it tasted soooo good but Sister Codling doesn't like nuts so thought it
was gross but she was missing out :)! Then went to another family and had
snacks and Got to set up their pretty Thanksgiving table!!!! So that was fun! Then at another families we were able to have the typical Thanksgiving Dinner
which was good and also got a lot of leftovers! Then we felt very special to be
invited to the Blatter's home that evening to have pie and also to help set up
the Christmas tree!!! It was great to be able to see one of my trainers this
week- Sister Krebs.
Also Surprise! Tonight we will be getting a third sister
joining us for three weeks named Sister Adams! She is from Olympia so I know
her and will be doing a mini mission which is serving and a full time
Missionary for 3 weeks. It should be fun!!! Oh also I went on exchanges with
Sister Bolos who was my MTC companion and that was great! We work so well
together- it was great!
Thanks for everything everyone does for me! I truly am so
blessed to have everyone in my life that is apart of it. I am especially
thankful to have the Savior on my side because without him I really am
nothing... Love ya all thanks!

From Camille's mom - I got a surprise phone call from Heather Telford who is currently in Camille's ward. She called to ask if I could send her a recipe that would remind Camille of home. I sent both a stroganoff on baked potatoes and Mexican Supper recipe. She said this is what her dad did and she also wants to follow suite by asking missionary parent's what their missionaries favorite meal is and then make it for them. Camille was pretty excited to be fed a delicious meal last night. The following was from Heather Telford.
Hi Sister Beck!
I just wanted you to know that your lovely daughter and
Sister Codling just left to do their tracting for the evening. I made the
Stroganoff and Potatoes and it was a big hit :) This plan to cook recipes from
home helps me out bigtime by adding in some new things to our meal routine and
gives my children a chance to try new things.
Thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly. We
really love having the sister missionaries in our home. They bring such a sweet
spirit and the evening was spent enjoying each other's company in stories and
laughter.
Have a wonderful rest of your Sabbath! Here is a photo of my
family along with your daughter and her companion.
Much love and gratitude,
Heather Telford
