Hey everyone!!!!!!!!!! Well it was exciting so Timothy finally came to church and he loved it! He didn't sleep through his alarm!!!! And is awesome he is just loving all of the information that we share and is just soaking it all up...(sorry I'm a little out of it so if this sounds weird I've had a crazy week).

Also I started something to do each day which is to have a Christ time during personal to just focus on my Savior and while I was doing it I found this scripture that I just fell in love with it.

1 Nephi 17:41 And he did straiten them in the wilderness with his rod; for they hardened their hearts, even as ye have; and the Lord straitened them because of their iniquity. He sent fiery flying serpents among them; and after they were bitten he prepared a way that they might be healed; and the labor which they had to perform was to look; and because of the simpleness of the way, or the easiness of it, there were many who perished.

So I love how Christ is always trying to straighten us and keep us on the path and then sometimes we have trials and challenges but lucky for us Christ is our way..... he prepared a way for us to be healed when we fall or when what ever happens to us that is there for us and this way is just so easy and simple and yet people perish because sometimes they are just too lazy or whatever is in their way.... anyways love you all and also I don't have any pics this week sorry but I just got one from a while ago.

Pic from a while ago when we were archetyped.

Okay so I love serving in Elma here with Sister Pike! She is just super sweet and I love the way we are able to work together so well!  So Elma is huge and covers a lot of little towns and my favorite is Montesano!  It is such a cute little town and everyone is just too sweet!   Also a bit about Sister Pike--she is from Tooele, Utah and is the oldest and has a younger sister and brother. She played soccer in HS and is just super sweet!!!!!

So the work here is great and this week started off great finding 9 new investigators in an area that pushes hard to reach 4 new so that's great and it was pretty easy! We taught Tony who Sister Pike found her first transfer in the area back in October and he is so elect but he needs to just marry Kelly who is a recently returning less active and that will be March 18th and then get him to stop smoking and he is set in his mind not to stop till after the marriage so its a little frustrating but we want him to solidly stop for good and not rush and start up again after the baptism and so that's good! Also we got a referral from the YSA sisters this week for a man named Timothy who was taught by the sisters a year ago. He is 32 so they gave him to us nicely:) And we weren't sure why he wanted to learn again but we found his teaching record and he seemed pretty legit! So we had a lesson with him and his 6 year old daughter who kept running all over their RV the whole lesson. We found out that he had been reading the Book of Mormon and when he moved had lost his copy of the Book of Mormon so self referred himself to get another copy and start to be taught again..... well the lesson was so smooth (other than his daughter being crazy:) and found out he was 60 pages into the BOM and loves it and can't get enough of it. So we put him on date for baptism but fell off date because he accidentally slept through church which he feels terrible about and is excited for next Sunday and our lessons this week.

Also I found out that Gary (the one who is ex- Jehovah's Witness) is finally on date for March 4th!!!! I can't wait to go back for it! He must have been able to get work off to come to church so YAY!

Well love you all and hope you have a wonderful week!

Hey everyone!!!!

So I'm getting transferred to Elma and am so excited to be able to serve with Sister Pike.... Sister Stephens will be staying here. Well other than that a lot hasn't happened but alot of the members were super sad that I'm leaving and 2 of them even started to cry which made me kinda feel good that I was possibly able to impacted there lives.

So we have a thing in the mission called archetype almost everyone has been archetypes its like a personality test thing and a lady up in forks does it where she asks you questions to figure out your base personality there are boy archetypes and girl archetypes so like the boys could be Alpha, gentleman, rouge, Guru, warrior, charmer, genius, and one more i don't remember and girls is damsel, siren, best friend, boss, free spirit, crusader, librarian and adventurer. Yesterday the lady came down and archetyped all of us it was so fun we got to get to know our zone way well and sad that after that I'm leaving.... so I was Archetyped as Best Friend and it makes since... and Sister Stephens and Boss.... it was fun then as a zone we ate at a place like pizza pie cafe called round table and then played Gaterball as a zone... it was fun and I will miss a lot of them but change is always good and I know that Heavenly Father has something for me!!!

Well have a great week!

Pic 3  and 4 - well a pic of Sister Stephens and I just barely on our last few hours together.... its been great!

My mom got a text from a lady in my ward saying, "Even though it's snowy and really cold, we all still love froyo and your daughters!  The library was closed today due to weather, so expect emails tomorrow.  Thank you for sharing your awesome girls with us!  We love them."

January 30, 2017

Hey so great week and had a cool World wide Missionary broadcast that changed the scheduled and indicators and I know this will in prove the work so much and also help us when we go home to transition easier.

Also I had a great lesson with Gary and we read with him 1 Nephi 8 about the Tree of Life. I just love this chapter and how Lehi wants his whole family to join him at the tree and feel of the joy of the fruit.  And he has Godly sorrow for those that don't come especially Lamen and Lemuel.  But Lehi stays right next to the tree and doesn't move and that's what we need to do is always stand by the Savior no matter how hard it gets but stand by him!  We talked to Gary mostly about the straight and narrow and with the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ and our path. Faith, Repentance, baptism, gift of Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the End. And as we taught it... well side note in the training I loved what Elder Bednar said that we tend to think of all of these and individual things but they are one thing that all work together or something. but focused on the endure to the end and temples and what happens in them and Gary loved it and thinks its great that we do that because as a JW they don't do it.... and so we asked him to pray to know that what we share is true and he said he knows it is because of all you have shared...... it was pretty powerful we just need him to get this new job that he won't get till April to come to church.... we keep praying and telling him it needs to be sooner and how we don't want to deny him these blessings of going to the temple or receiving the Gift of the Holy ghost!

Well love ya all and have a great week!
