Mission Report - June 25, 2017

Camille had her mission report on June 25 that morning to the High Council.  It was fun for Byron and I to attend this with her.  She was able to share experiences from her mission including the story of Rose and her conversion story.  Then at 9 am we had our ward Sacrament Meeting.  Camille shared a lot of the experiences she had while serving.  The spirit was so strong in the room.  She wanted to sing her mission song, "Amazing Grace" and got permission from the Bishopric.  She sang this song all the time on her mission- luckily she had Sister Sokoiewasa, Elder Piel, Sister Krebs and Sister Pike at her report so they were able to sing with her.  I played the piano and it was such a beautiful rendition.  Afterwards we were able to have family over for some food and enjoyed visiting.

Home life

We loved having Camille back.  The morning after she returned, she got up early and did her personal study then started cleaning the house.  It was strange to walk into the house and smell clorox - sure enough Camille was cleaning the bathrooms.  Then she moved outside and cleaned the car inside and out.  Bradley sure had fun cleaning it with her. It was funny - Camille just cleaned the car and then was heading up to the duplexes with Tanner when he texted me, "Mom, Camille is doing it again."  She had stopped at the gas station right by our house to clean the windshield before heading out.  I got a good laugh.  We sure love having this girl back home.

So glad Camille could be with us when Tanner went through the temple for the first time.

Sister Pike came down to see Camille - was so fun to meet her.

Work has begun back at McDonalds

Return home

Camille flew home on June 14, 2017 leaving Tacoma at 10:10 am and arriving at 1:12 pm.  She flew in with Sister Bolos, Sister Gunnell, and Sister Cox.  They waited to be the last ones down the escalators and then came down together.  It was surreal to have her finally home!  Getting that first hug was amazing and much anticipated!  So glad both sets of grandparents could come with us also.  Camille's requested place to eat was Zupas, so we headed to Lehi at Traverse Mountain to eat.  Then Grandpa and Grandma Adamson headed home and the rest of us headed to our house.  Camille had to walk around the whole house reacquainting herself to everything including the chickens.  She was so excited to see Gus and Nugget.  It was fun to have Camille go through her luggage and show us different things.  From 5:30-8:30 we had an open house for the family and friends to come see her.  It was so fun for family to come and also some of her closest friends.  That evening Camille was released at the Stake offices by President Davidson.  She definitely didn't want to take off her missionary badge.

We love you so much and are so grateful for the missionary you were in Tacoma and the lives you were able to touch.  So many blessings came into your life and also our life while you were away.  What an amazing example you are to all of your brothers of the importance of serving a mission. We love you so much and are excited to see what this next chapter will bring.

In the airport getting ready to see Camille come home.

Enjoying family time!

A sweet card from Bradley - I have missed you so much "good to have you home."  It feels like you have been gone for like ever so much things have changed like Johnathan has changed his voice so much.  Carter and Parker have grown so much and Tanner is going on a mission :(  And I have grown too.  Well I love you and I sure cryed when I saw tears of joy.  Love you so much Camille.
