Merry Christmas!!!!!!!! It all started Tuesday when we had our awesome missionary Christmas party! We did a fun game of white elephant and I gave away some silly straw glasses... and I got a dog calendar..... IMO not sure what to do with it since I'm not the biggest fan of dogs but I guess I will see. We then did Christmas carols where we all stood on our chairs and jumped around singing frosty of jingle bells. The craziest was when we sang the 12 days of Wa-Tac where each zone got a different number and would do something crazy while we sang it like lifting our chairs or throwing our cups, etc. We were also able to watch each zone do a skit and everyone said our zones had one of the best. We took different Disney songs and made the district 4... it was so funny!

Christmas eve we ate at a members home and shared the He is born video and talked about all of the words that describe our Savior and why he is who he is. Then on Christmas we couldn't proselyte so we spent it with members. We were able to talk with our family's which was awesome. I'll be honest I think I had a better day in the MTC for Thanksgiving than I did for Christmas but it was cool. We also went to visit Sister V. and she always inspires me! but since the temp out side was so low and her house isn't sealed right? She couldn't get her breathing under control to be able to breath so she had to push her button to be able to call to go to the hospital and this was I guess her 7th time going this year which is scary. But I think the three of us were more scared than she was...

Then Christmas and Christmas Eve we got together and sang Carols to people and to play Mafia and volleyball. I'm super excited because after this we will be going bowling together.

We have been trying to work with the members more to be able to get baptisms through them and I have been loving Mosiah 18:8-10:

 8 And it came to pass that he said unto them: Behold, here are the waters of Mormon (for thus were they called) and now, as ye are desirous to come into the fold of God, and to be called his people, and are willing to bear one another’s burdens, that they may be light;
 9 Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death, that ye may be redeemed of God, and be numbered with those of the first resurrection, that ye may have eternal life—
 10 Now I say unto you, if this be the desire of your hearts, what have you against being baptized in the name of the Lord, as a witness before him that ye have entered into a covenant with him, that ye will serve him and keep his commandments, that he may pour out his Spirit more abundantly upon you?

I love you all and hope you have a great New Year!!!!

Yay! So I have had a week full of so much that I cant remember everything But I will sure try! We were able to serve Sister Sutherland who has always know the church is true but never had the opportunity to meet with the missionaries till a few years ago and is baptized. She is about 75 and was living in an assisted living center but now with money lives in this tiny trailer with 2 cats. She is also allergic to dust so we just went over and helped her clean and washed her cloths and stuff. She was so grateful for our help and kept saying what we did in a couple of hours would have taken her like a week. we also helped Sister V. ( no one can ever remember her real last name so it is V.) and she was also a convert and all by herself so we helped clean and keep her company and stuff. It is hard because she cant leave the house till it is over 45 degrees or else she could go to the hospital but we love her and I love her Laugh!

So this week when we knocked on the doors for 2 hours we took a caroling approach singing silent night then we share the He is born video card and tell them more about Christ. last Monday we did it as a zone and you would not believe how many slammed the door on us for just singing joy to the world or something. Then others call there whole family to come and hear! I love it though.

In one of my personal study's this week I was in Mosiah and it talked about how they made all sorts of different weapons as they were at war with the Lamanites, then after they were done fighting they continued to build all sorts of weapons so they could be prepared for when the Lamanites came to destroy them. I likened this to how we need to continually build up our weapons of war against Satan if he is destroying us or not we need those things. that have to do with the basics, praying daily/often, daily reading scriptures, church, tithing, etc. We need these everyday to be able to grow closer to the Savior than to Satan.  Well love you all and hope you have a very Marry Christmoose ( haha we saw that on a sign at a door we knocked on with a pic of a moose and it sort of stuck!)

Yay so It has been a fun week! I have two Companions who are also sister training leaders who's names are Sister Baldwin and Sister Krebs! They are so funny and have taught me so much about life in general. So It was Awesome!!!! so Every night we go knocking for 2 hours which I have hatted, but we were asked to do it so I really should not complain! But I asked Heavenly Father to help me find a reason to want to go knocking and that night we met Dee who is totally going to be baptized! She is poly. and is a member of the 7th something church but she believes in not smoking and such like us and she has grown up around a lot of Mormons so she really loves being with people that believe the same type of things...

So we had a baptism this past Saturday and his name is Paul. He is awesome and our plan it to be able to take him to the temple this Saturday to do baptisms for the dead which he is super excited for. I love Washington so much! I am in Lacy which is the Lacy 3rd ward and all of the members are so awesome! Oh so I did see Sister Chapple (my cousin in the Wa-tac) but I didn't get a pic yet sorry but I will. You can send me mail at

I have learned so much about just keeping the commandments and I encourage everyone to look up Mosiah 2: 31&41. One of my favorite parts of the day is praying when I first wake up and when I go to ben and then just Studying the Book Of Mormon!!! Love you All!

Dear Parents,

This is just a quick note to let you know that your missionary arrived safely in Tacoma today.

We took our new missionaries to the Puget Sound (photo attached). From here they will have a great lunch. Then they will be interviewed, given a brief orientation, and meet their new companion, who will also be their trainer.  After a very spiritual meeting where the departing missionaries will share their testimonies, they will be off to their new areas.

We are thrilled to welcome them into the out mission. Please feel free to contact either of us if you have any questions or concerns. You are also invited to check out the mission blog at https://www.calledtoservewa-tac.blogspot.com

May the Lord bless you and your family.
