So it was so awesome this week and sad because I have to say
good bye to all but 1 of the Elders in our district. So at the TRC this week
Sister Bolos and I taught Lisa. The first time she was out of the state so we
Skyped her and it was nice but not as personal. Then the next time we came she
told us about how she is a sculptor and is working on a project at thanksgiving
point where they are doing all of these bible story's on Christ. She said she
doesn't know a lot about Christ so it is hard to relate. Lisa told us how she
is working on Christ's hand when he draws on the dirt in front of the sinner. I
then had this overwhelming feeling that I should sing His Hands by Kenneth
Cope. I had a hard time remembering but with the spirit I was able to sing the
whole song. It was so powerful and Lisa was crying. She loved it and we could
tell that she was feeling the spirit. So I told her that this Is the Holy Ghost
and if she gets baptized she can feel this way all the time. and she loved that
idea and when we asked "Lisa will you follow the example of Jesus Christ
and be baptized with the proper authority of God?" She said she isn't
ready because all she knows about Christ is what I sang in the song.
Saturday was our last day as a class and It was fun because
we played a prank with our teachers where we got them to leave and hurried and
put a banana on our heads. Back story is that our teacher once had a kid
sitting there with nothing but a banana on his head so our teacher asked if he
wanted to go get his stuff and he said yes. and so he walked out of the room
with his banana. so we put a banana on all of our heads and when they came in
it was funny to see there reaction.
Well I wanted to tell you all how much I love Jesus Christ! I am so thankful for all he has done in my life so that I can return to my
loving Father in Heaven someday! I am so thankful for Joseph smith and that he
had a simple Question as to which church was true. I am so thankful that he
translated the Book of Mormon so that I can have it in my life and that it can
be there to help others feel the spirit.
I want to challenge all of you to be a better Member
Missionary's and to read The importance of members in preach my gospel on page
160. Love ya and have a great week!!!!!

Camille's mom got a text from Sister Thompson on December 3 - it said, "This is Sister Thompson. Your daughters are in our branch and put up flags today! Pretty big deal! They are exceptional! We love them, they love us, but more importantly, they love God and you, in that order!"
