Hey Everyone I hope you were able to have a great week! Well
we had a crazy week but it was amazing to be able to see tender mercy's come
from our struggles. On Friday it was awesome because we got to go and serve at
the Senior Center. We first went and pretty much made TV dinners by putting
food in and then sealing the containers. Then we put silverware in napkins and
rolled them up. Then we served food to the people who don't have homes. It felt
great! Then we had to go to Tacoma to be able to go to the Dr. for Sister Soko
( whose real last name is Sokoiwasa) but we were stuck in traffic fro about 3
hours and were late. So we left for Tacoma at about 12:30 and didn't get home
till 6 it was crazy!!!!! But even though it was a rough emotional day I got
letters from my family right when I needed them and I knew that it was no
coincidence.
So Sister Soko is follow-up training me and this is her 4th
transfer (and this is my 2nd transfer). She is a convert of about 3 years and
now she has 3 siblings Including her (out of 9 kids) members and also her
parents. So we go OYMing ( which is opening your mouth about the gospel) over
by the beautiful Capital Lake/ the docks.
We have 2 new investigates with follow-up apt this week. So
Johnny, who is a less actives friend, is one and we talked to him about faith
and in his words "the 2nd Bible". He was excited to read more in the
Book of Mormon and we will see him Friday. Then we met Jim last night who is
Catholic and talked to him about the Book of Mormon. We told him about how it
is another Testament of Jesus Christ, and how after Jesus I resurrected he goes
to the people in the Americas to teach them and he was really interested! So we
will see!!!!!
Lots of Love

A conversation we had through email: well for the senior Center thing i need to get a food
handlers permit so that is what I'm doing now so I can talk for a little bit
while I have to listen....
When asked the question if she cooks some fun meals for lunch or breakfast? I am boring and lazy possibly because I
have a time limit of an hour and would rather spend time on other things so I
make grilled cheese and oatmeal a lot! but it is good... I love this Hummus from
Walmart that is a pine nut one really good and I eat that a lot! Tonight I'm going to make shepherds pie... I got the
ingredients today so I'm excited!!!
Do you go back to your apartment to eat or just grab something while you are out? Ya sometimes we do both.... actually so far in the Olympia
ward I have only had 2 member meals.
Here are two pictures posted on the Wa-Tac blog.

Also my sweet sister, Heather and her family were travelling through to go to Paul's grandma's house and decorated Camille's door that evening. Camille had an awful day and was very discouraged. She said, "But when we came home Saturday night after the CRAZY day... We found that we were heart attacked by
the Jamisons!!!!! And we were in such awww of Heavenly Fathers timing. And I
had been thinking a lot about Patience and Christ Like Love that whole day and
guess what the sacrament talks were on the next day... Love and Patience......"
Cara Sabin sent me this picture that was taken with one of Cara's neighbors at BYU-Idaho- she lives in Camille's ward in Olympia.
