Hey everyone!!!!!

So Dylan is still on date but our bishop asked us to move his baptism to July 9 for different reasons so he is still doing great.....  His Mom, Diane, isn't - they got in a fight and doesn't want to be in his way so will try to teach her again after Dylan is baptized!

This week was great though we were able to make Rosio and Alandra new investigators! Their brother, Juan, was baptized back in I believe September and he was just deployed and so his sisters are living with his wife (Victoria has been a member for her whole life but just barely coming back into activity!) and kids to help. They saw Juan get the Aaronic Priesthood two weeks ago right before he left and a young women invited them to young women's which they loved!!!!! they are 15 and 16 and are so elect! We invited them to be baptized if they come to know its true and they said they would.... Sister Kramer and I didn't feel right about setting a date just yet but they are so elect its great!!!!!

They love church too and say their week is better and they just feel peace when they are there and how everyone is just so nice. They have been to other churches before but never like ours. So in young women's Sister Kramer and I taught the restoration to them and then last night answered some questions they had about it. Rosio asked us what the Gospel of Jesus Christ was and so we told her and started to teach lesson 3 and then I had to leave to talk to our district leader for numbers and when I came back they were talking about the Plan of Salvation quickly and baptisms for the dead..... so we almost covered all 3 lessons in the first real lesson. (last Saturday we talked about the Book of Mormon and gave them each a copy and when we went over it was cute Alandra said she was bored and so started t read it! she was confused but felt peace!) they are so cute!

Well I'm so thankful to have experiences like this on my mission! Lessons like these especially when the spirit is super strong makes missionary work worth it! Love you all and hope you have a spectacular week!

Hello Everyone!!!! Happy first day of SUMMER!!!!!

So it has been an amazing week that started with Zion's Camp (which I think I mentioned was called Camp Helamen but its really Zion's Camp...) Where we did ropes courses that taught us not to give up as a missionary even when its hard, the importance of comp. unity, and to trust others especially our loving Heavenly Father! We also got to have an amazing training by the Assistance to the President and President and Sister Blatter! It was wonderful to get away and to have a spiritual high with half of the missionaries in the Wa-Tac!

Well so If you remember Dylan at all he was on date awhile ago but fell off and had some past things that put him in "the governmental unit" for about 3 weeks. Well while he was there we started to talk to his mom about her crazy life, Diane, and would pray with her and share some of our beliefs. Well Dylan texted us Wednesday night and said " hey sorry I've been gone for a few weeks but I'm back and am so excited to be able to go to church this Sunday and bring my son." Well we were so happy to see this and so set up a lesson for Friday night and shared the Restoration video that's 20 min. and the spirit was just so strong! We put Dylan back on date for July 2nd and invited Diane to be baptized too with the priesthood power of God if she comes to know that it's true and she said she would if she comes to know it's true!

Well then they came to church yesterday and Dylan was so excited to be their and he loved it... His mom also came and liked it and after church she was saying how she forgot to bring her Book of Mormon and will try to find her bible next week for church and so we thought that was a good sign!

I'm so thankful for the restoration of the gospel to the earth and the strong spirit it brings each time we share it with others. Love you all and hope you have a great week full of Missionary work :)

Hello Friends and family!!!!

Hope you were able to have a wonderful week this week!!! Well we also had exchanges this week with my STLs and it was great to be able to work with them and learn different ways to do door approaches and stuff..... oh it also rained this week so that was a blessing but it also meant no one is outside so we can't talk to them....

I love the Story of Alma the older Praying for his son Alma the younger who was wicked at the time. How even though Alma's son was persecuting the church and causing havoc for his father, Alma prayed diligently for his son's heart to be softened and then we know that an angel appeared to Alma the younger and said...

Mosiah 27:4 And again, the angel said: Behold, the Lord hath heard the prayers of his people, and also the prayers of his servant, Alma, who is thy father; for he has prayed with much faith concerning thee that thou mightest be brought to the knowledge of the truth; therefore, for this purpose have I come to convince thee of the power and authority of God, that the prayers of his servants might be answered according to their faith.

I just love how because of Alma's prayer combined with faith... he was able to work miracles! So will you all pray for a Missionary opportunity to happen and for their hearts to be softened so you can have this missionary opportunity? I testify and know with faith all who try this will have one and when you do PLEASE tell me!!!!!

Well sorry if this is a boring email but not a lot of interesting things happened but we know that great things will happen soon!

Hello everyone!!!!!! Hope you have had a great first week of June.

Well for me it has been exhausting!!! Lately and especially yesterday it has been in about the 90s with humidity! Now I'm not sure if I have really ever talked about how hard a mission is but it is hard! Everyday we do our 5 to 7s which is when we go out everyday and knock doors from 5 pm to 7 pm and it is hard because most reject you....but I just continually remember that they are not rejecting us but the gospel!!!

Well yesterday during 5 to 7s it was super hot and humid and we were knocking in a more boony area where the houses are spread out far from each other and the roads/ drive ways are super long. Well Sister Kramer and I were struggling walking these long roads with our heavy bags on our shoulders, dying because we were so thirsty, my feet were going to fall off, I think the heat was getting to me and people were not being super nice..... but I just kept telling Sister Kramer alright I get it!!! these roads seem long but Christ did not have it easy! I was sure struggling carrying my bag but it wasn't easy for Christ to carry his cross... I might be super thirsty and not able to walk anymore but at least someone didn't give us vinegar to drink.....  but I had two tender mercies too!

1: a cute chicken was following me so I picked her up and hugged her remembering my cute chickens back home that follow me and just want to be loved.

2: well at this point I think my eyes were going a little wacky and I seriously could only think about getting water even if they slam the door... finally at 6:40 we walked to this house determined to get water and when this man opened the door he immediately said that he wasn't interested and started to shut the door, well I didn't care and I saw that he had a hose attached to his house for water and HaHa I said well then do you think we could drink water with your hose? and he was like well I could get you a bottle water. and I said that would be great! so he handed us 2 nice cold bottles of water and thanked him and we went on our way drinking the whole bottle before we even got off his lawn and I said a prayer to thank Heavenly Father for that nice man to give us water and to bless him for his service!

Well even though we didn't have a ton of success I know Heavenly Father knows what I need to become even better and a more dedicated instrument in his hands... Love you all!

Happy Memorial Day Everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend!

Sorry I didn't email yesterday but the Library wasn't open and we wouldn't have even had time to email anyways with how crowded our schedule was. We had a fun Memorial Day Picnic with a 3rd of the mission and with President and Sister Blatter! It was such a nice day and I just love summer holidays!

Well so Today is the Beginning of a new transfer and I will be staying here with Sister Kramer... I've never been with a companion for more than one so this will be super fun! Also our District will be staying the same except for Elder Hansen who is going home after two years! It has been great to work with him for 3 transfers because he really has been a great, hardworking, missionary!

Well Sister Kramer and I decided that We are going to be focused on baptizing a family this transfer and helping them get sealed in the temple!!!! We are super excited for this goal we both have and can't wait to see how we can help the Lord out.

We met this awesome person named Don while we were knocking with a Youth and we talked to him for almost and hour. He agreed with everything that we said and was so excited to be able to sit down and read the Book of Mormon and pray to know if it is true. The bad news is that our apt is set up for June 27th because he has a long business trip, but he will have time to read! He was so funny because he is a computer nerd in his 50s and acts like I would think the guy who invented apple would act (sorry I don't remember his name) but maybe it will be him and his wife we will try to take to the temple!!!

Love you all and hope you have a great week!
