Hey everyone!!!!!!
So this is going to be the last Cambodian word of the week
and it is nyap sop si sas na which means the missionaries!
So Sister Pen and I are getting doubled out of Mt View and
she is going to Lacey 4th and I'm doubling into Chambers Creek with someone who
is still in Utah..... so we shall see. It should be fun and I will be staying in
the same zone which will be fun!
I loved General Conference so much and I was amazed at how
many talks were about missionary work... I'm not sure if I just noticed because
I'm a missionary or what but it was great. I loved the talk from President
Nelson on finding Joy in the Gospel everyday and it made me realize how much my
life is really filled with joy in some parts and I can definitely do better in
other parts! Satan is definitely real and he knows how to get me and I'm
imagining it might come out worse this next transfer but as I focus on the Joy
the amazing difference it will make!
Love ya all!

Sister Beck
Pic 5 all who came and watched General Conference... these
are all members and I'm going to miss them so much but what's exciting is that
Mon who is Rany's non-member husband came to the Sunday morning session!!!
The following are pictures posted on the mission blog from the Sunday afternoon session.
Below is a response Camille gave to Sister Pollmann in an email when asked if she had any advice to share about service for the Young Woman.
"Well I always thought of service as oh let's mow their lawn or rake leaves or I don't know typical bigger service projects and that's really great and Christ is just so happy when you do those things. But it also has to do with the little unplanned service opportunities you see everyday like at the store when stuff falls out of someones purse and you step out of the way to help. Or doing the dishes when you see that they need to be done, or just doing it because you care for someone and not because you have to be asked. I feel like I should share this awesome experience I had with you that you could share with the girls if you want. So we only had about 30 more min of the day to do something and I felt like we should go and street contact in the Dollar Tree/Good Will parking lot. Before we went out to talk to them, I prayed that we will find someone that we can help and share the gospel with. We started to walk around (and this was at about 8:30 pm and it was dark) and it was cold so I was wearing my cute navy blue petticoat. We walked up to a couple sitting on the ground next to the Dollar Tree and they weren't asking for anything just homeless so sitting there. We started to talk and ask if they believe in Jesus Christ and they did and I pulled out a Book of Mormon and asked if they have ever read from the Book of Mormon and they said no and the man wasn't interested but the women was and I bore my testimony of its power! Then we said a prayer for them and as I got up I realized that the women was freezing and it was cold. And I heard in my head, "Sister Beck she needs this Jacket more than you do and you have a brown one that looks the same at home so you don't need it"..... So I asked if she was cold and she said she was and so I said well you can have my jacket I hope it fits. So I took it off and gave it to her and she put it on and it fit and she just smiled at me and said thanks. As I walked away I felt really good and knew that that is what Christ would have done and sometimes you don't know what to do but when you are prompted to help just do it and don't question it because you will be the one guilty for not doing so."
On October 2, my mom got this text from Sister George, "Hi there, this is Sister George. Hope you got that photo Sister Beck emailed it to you. She is still going to be in our stake, but to Chambers Creek. We will miss her. Her companion is going to Lacey, Washington. I love them dearly. They did great work here." She was so sweet.
My mom also got a text from another sister with these 2 pictures and also a video of Rany making spring rolls.
