Hello!!!!!!!

Well so the exciting news is that Dylan was able to be put back on date for the 28th of May last Friday, but yesterday he woke up with this awful cold and after church when we got to visit him he was all swollen sick looking and we felt bad and so said to go back to bed but, We think Satan is just trying really hard to prevent this because of how important this really is!

Well this past Wednesday was like the best day ever!!!!! We were able to go to the Seattle Temple and it was amazing! The spirit was just so strong and I loved just sitting in the beautiful Celestial room and feel the strong spirit and to be able to sit in a beautiful room surrounded by fellow missionaries and President and Sister Blatter. It was just so amazing and I am already looking forward to when in a year we will get to go again!!!!! Right next to the Temple is a Stake Center that has a new family history interactive experience with I-pads and it was so fun. I think they have a similar one on temple square!

I am just so thankful to be a missionary for Jesus Christ in the Wa-Tac and couldn't have asked for a better mission to go to. It does get hard when your testimony is  pushed to the limits and Satan is trying hard to turn you around but I loved how when I went to the temple right away I just knew that this is true and that you cant feel the spirit testify of the truth more than you can in the temple!

Go to the Temple-  it's amazing and if you can't do family history and keep moving the work forward!!!!!

Love you all

Hello Everyone!!!!!

It has been a great week as always! We have been teaching a guy named Dylan who the Elders found before the transfer. We have been trying to set up a lesson with him for a while now and it has never quite worked out till Thursday! He only had about 20 min to meet with us before he had to leave to pick up his 3 year old son from school. We were also able to have really great fellowship for Dylan with an awesome family! We taught the Doctrine of Christ and read in 3 Nephi 27:13-21. He also thought with Word of Wisdom and having to stop that he had to be perfect but we told him he doesn't and Christ will take him as he is and make him better. Well Sister Sanchez was the great fellowship and talked about her Word of Wisdom trial and she was really able to relate to Dylan in a way Sister Kramer and I couldn't and we were able to put him on date for May 21st! We kept having 5 min visits and he was so excited to be able to wear his suit before it gets too hot and bring his son, etc. he is great but then on Sunday he didn't show up and it was from personal family matters so that was Dumb!!! but we are hoping to be able to put him back on date tonight:)

We also met Linn who isn't a member but has had a rough couple of years and had been praying for someone to help her.... She asked for hopefully Mormon Missionaries..... Well so we walked up to the door that was wide open and she asked who we were ands she was so ecstatic that we showed up:) It is super sad because one day her husband didn't want to live with her anymore and didn't want to pay child support so got her in this legal mess to where because he has the money she hasn't seen her 3 daughters in about 4 years and there Dad has Brainwashed them to where they don't want her because the dad bribes them to stay away..... Well she is kind of a paper hoarder and has saved all of her daughters papers from school to church and it is a big mess! so we have been helping her sort her girls papers so she can eventually scrap book them..... Anyways she loves her Daughters so much you can just tell by the way she talks about them and holds on to these papers because this is all she has left of them. She isn't super interested in joining the church but she should she is one of the most Faithful Christens I've met! We are going to continue to help her next week before she has to get kicked out of the house because she house hops... Its so sad!!!

I'm so thankful for the Gospel and for the continued joy that comes from living it! Love you all so much!

Hey!!!!!

So This has been a fun week but I sometimes run out of things to say because I tend to forget what happened through out the week..... But I loved Mothers Day and Being able to talk to my family and Sorry Mom I can't remember if I said the Most important thing with it being so crazy but HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!! Love you!

So we were asked to see Sammy by our Bishop who is a less active recently coming back. She is awesome and we hope to be able to teach her fiance who isn't a member but haha its funny really because he worships the Thor Gods???? I don't remember what they are called but I guess it's a real religion and they meet once a month at least in Olympia. But anyways Sammy's mother passed away a few months ago and she saw them put her temple clothing on her mom before they closed the caskets. Her friend that has her endowments out said that there are symbols but she can't say because they are sacred but Sammy made it a goal to make it to the temple so she can know for herself.

So she has a plan to make it to do Baps for the Dead in like 6 months with the Bishop because she has been struggling with Word of Wisdom issues. But she is so committed to quitting its amazing!!! And she has been coming to church every week now with her fiance and anyways its a lot longer story but amazing and I'm so excited for her!!!

This reminds me of what I do have and that I shouldn't take it for granted one bit and I don't but on Wednesday the 18th of May we get to go and do a session and I am sooooo excited!!!!!! I'm sorry I keep telling some of you this but go to the temple as much as possible because so many just cant go because it is too far or Like me I'm a missionary... Go to the temple to make it a Goal to make it there because it will bless you life!

"The temple is a point of intersection between heaven and earth. In this sacred place, holy work will be performed through selfless service and love. The temple reminds me of all that is good and beautiful in the world."
—David A. Bednar

"As we touch the temple and love the temple, our lives will reflect our faith. As we go to the holy house, as we remember the covenants we make therein, we will be able to bear every trial and overcome each temptation."
—Thomas S. Monson

I love these quotes so much And love you all have a wonderful week!!!

HAHA PS I was Serenaded by a Hispanic who is looking for a wife but we are too young for him.... anyways it was sooo funny!!!

Hey!!!!!!!! So this has been a really great week! So as a mission we have been working on member inspires and a member inspire is when you go into a members home and teach them a principle and leave them a commitment to be a better member missionary! So how we do it is we ask them to clear there mind of any pre-existing names and that as you listen to our message a name will pop into your head that is someone the Lord wants you to help (And family and friends try this now... not sure if it will be powerful over an email but I promise you will think of a name to help fellowship!!!)

So then we show them a picture of the first vision and say:

So Joseph Smith lived in New York where there was a lot of religious bustle and each were claiming that they were the right church. Well each church cant be the right one so Joseph tried to figure it out him self and with no luck he was looking in the Epistle of James and read " If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." Well he figured if anyone lacked wisdom it was him and so he decided to go into the woods near his home and pray and Joseph later recounts that  "I Saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the son which descended gradually until it fell upon me. When the light rested upon me I saw two personages who's brightness and glory define all description standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said pointing to the other Joseph this is my beloved son hear him" We later learn that Jesus said to join non of the churches but that through Joseph smith the priesthood keys were once again restored to the earth, He translated the Book of Mormon, and established Gods Kingdom once again on the earth in the name of Jesus Christ Amen........... Then we ask what names came to there heads and help them out to see how we can help.

One family had a girl named Lexi who worked with a nonmember Marisa that has been asking questions about the LDS church so we gave Lexi a BoM to give to her and share her testimony and ask if we can teach her..... well then Marisa came to church and loved it and we will hopefully teach her soon and this has happened with other families and it is way awesome!!!!!!!!

Well I love you all so much and hope you were able to feel the spirit so strong when you read this.... I know I do every time and it never gets old ( The members tend to get a little teary eyed which is cool! Thanks!!!
