Hey!!!!!
So This has been a fun week but I sometimes run out of
things to say because I tend to forget what happened through out the week.....
But I loved Mothers Day and Being able to talk to my family and Sorry Mom I
can't remember if I said the Most important thing with it being so crazy but
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!! Love you!
So we were asked to see Sammy by our Bishop who is a less
active recently coming back. She is awesome and we hope to be able to teach her
fiance who isn't a member but haha its funny really because he worships the
Thor Gods???? I don't remember what they are called but I guess it's a real
religion and they meet once a month at least in Olympia. But anyways
Sammy's mother passed away a few months ago and she saw them put her
temple clothing on her mom before they closed the caskets. Her friend that has
her endowments out said that there are symbols but she can't say because they
are sacred but Sammy made it a goal to make it to the temple so she can know
for herself.
So she has a plan to make it to do Baps for the Dead in like
6 months with the Bishop because she has been struggling with Word of Wisdom
issues. But she is so committed to quitting its amazing!!! And she has been
coming to church every week now with her fiance and anyways its a lot longer
story but amazing and I'm so excited for her!!!
This reminds me of what I do have and that I shouldn't take
it for granted one bit and I don't but on Wednesday the 18th of May we get to
go and do a session and I am sooooo excited!!!!!! I'm sorry I keep telling some
of you this but go to the temple as much as possible because so many just cant
go because it is too far or Like me I'm a missionary... Go to the temple to
make it a Goal to make it there because it will bless you life!
"The temple is a point of intersection between heaven and earth. In this sacred place, holy work will be performed through selfless service and love. The temple reminds me of all that is good and beautiful in the world."
—David A. Bednar
"As we touch the temple and love the temple, our lives will reflect our faith. As we go to the holy house, as we remember the covenants we make therein, we will be able to bear every trial and overcome each temptation."
—Thomas S. Monson
I love these quotes so much And love you all have a wonderful
week!!!
