Hey everyone! well I hope you guys had an amazing Easter!
So Sister Trost has anxiety and lately when she would eat a
meal all she wanted to do was throw it up... so on Monday we tried a few
techniques to help her feel better and it ended with her on the ground in so
much pain so we called our district leader to give her a blessing and she could
barely walk without having to sit down so as I was backing the car super fast
to take her she threw up and so I asked if she felt better and she didn't....
so the next day she just rested and I tried to keep myself busy. I have been
reading Our Search for Happiness by Elder Ballard and I have loved it so much!
Wednesday we did not want to spend another day inside so we
were able to get some freedom and had an amazing District meeting! Our District
Leader Elder Leber had us think of a few questions that we have had and once we
got them we all read Enos together and all of our questions were answered
except a few others had so then we read Helaman ch. 5 and then the got their answers. This just really showed us all how the Book of Mormon with the power
of the Gift of the Holy Ghost can answer any questions we have!
Easter was great we have been teaching this family from
Africa and Rebecca has had all of the lessons twice but her husband was out of
the pic till recently when a member encouraged him to come and so Monday (after
the blessing) we had a FHE with them and Jacob understood it a lot better than
his wife does which was great. But we were sad they didn't come today because
they were in Tacoma with some friends from their country. But I thought the
Easter program was great and the talks were great as well! In gospel principles
it was about Easter and how to not let the fun of Easter get in the way of what
it's really about. I also realized that when everyone will be resurrected in the
east and its EASTer.... anyways I never recognized the symbolism.
Well I still love the Gospel and and love sharing it with
others!!! Love you all as well hope you have a wonderful week.

Pic2 Sister Trost... we took a quick lunch break after doing
our service project and there were a lot of flowers like dandelions and wild
daises so I made a flower crown.
Pic 3 Sister Trost had a Dr. Apt in Tacoma Saturday so we
got Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and Chick-fil-A while there!
Pic 6 Sister Trost and I eating lunch with a less active
member named Dutch. Who has had a lot of family die from cancer including his
wife and now he has Stage 4 cancer and is on hospice care... So he just loves
the company and to be able to feel the spirit. He took us to Anthonies which is
a nicer sea food place and he got mad at me for getting fish tacos but when
they came he thought it looked good!
Pic 7 Sorry it is kinda a bad pic of us but this is Gayle,
Me, Sister Trost, and Beth who we have been doing cross stitch with and we went
and saw them last night and they are so cute! they gave us each a nice book by
Harriet Uchdorf for Easter and they signed it for us.
