Hello everyone!!!!! this week has been full of wonderful
miracles for me!!!!!
So I'm not sure if I told all of you this because I get
confused with all of my letters to parents and to everyone... but Sister Kramer
and I had a goal at the beginning of this transfer to be able to find a family
of 4 to baptize and see sealed in the temple. Well each day we have been
praying for this goal and I think I've told you that We have been teaching
Rocio and Alondra. well at some point a few weeks ago we both had the
impression that this is our family that we have been praying for.
So Wednesday night we texted Victoria ( the girls
sister-in-law) to see if July 16th would be a good day for them to get baptized
and if they would have permission from their mom who's in Mexico..... well then
on Thursday we asked the girls about it and Rocio said yes I'm ready and her
mom gave permission.... well Alondra said she needs time and that's too quick
for her and we said that we know they are ready now and don't want them not to
have the gift of the holy ghost not with them. Also the Girl's Mom wants to get
baptized and told Alondra to wait for her in December when she comes down.....
then we talked about Rocio, Alondra, and us going to do Baptisms for the dead
after they are baptized and I think Alondra realized she wouldn't be able to go
and so she said that she will probably change her mind and get baptized and who
knows if her mom will end up getting baptized. So we told them to read the
scriptures and prayers and for Alondra to ask if this is right...
Well last night we went back and asked Alondra if she has
decided and she said her mom said to wait for her so she was going to wait...
and then about five mins. later she said no I'm going to get baptized with Rocio - My mom is just going to have to wait and we were just soooooo happy!!!!!! This
is what missionary work is all about and it's amazing!!!!
So sad news I will be getting Transferred to the Tacoma area
called the Mountain View Ward working with Sister Pine who is a Cambodian
speaking missionary and from Cambodia. I guess about 35% of our lessons
will be in cambod and the rest English... President Blatter said we will be
trying something new and see how it goes. Also in the ward there will be elders
and my district Leader Elder Johnson will be joining me in the same ward so
that will be fun and great since I know him!
so my new address is:
4525 S.Warner St. apt. 74
Tacoma,
WA 98409
Well love ya all and hope everything is great and sorry this
is longer than normal:)
