Hey everyone!

So missions sometimes are hard. Timothy who was going to get baptized on Saturday kinda went M.I.A.! from Monday to Friday we weren't able to get a hold of him... calling... texting him... tried to stop by and his mom wasn't the nicest. She antied us pretty bad by telling us that we are wrong and she hasn't been pleased with her son and how with him coming to church with us he will eventually fall and realize that they are right.... then she prayed for us in tongues which is not of the spirit at all and in fact the spirit wasn't there when she prayed. She kept saying how sad she was that we believe in something so false. Well when things happen like this I just don't feel good and I wanted to cry for her sake and believing this way and for Timothy and him having to hear this when his testimony is not very strong. I was able to say a prayer for Timothy to find the strength he needs and all I could do was cry.... but that's okay because finally on Saturday... well so we told two members to try to get a hold of him because Timothy knows them and had lessons in their homes and we couldn't and one called him and got a hold of him and had a good conversation with him. So we decided to drop by again and called him first but didn't answer so we left but he texted us and said we could come by and had a good conversation with him... this is why members are so important! He was going to come to church and then didn't so not sure why but I did have a feeling to text and remind about daylight savings and figured it will change on his phone so didn't and so I'm wondering if he realized it too late and so didn't come because he would have arrived late or maybe something else but he still wants to be baptized just needs more time...

Also Jennifer is doing awesome! She loves to meet with us and is so excited. What is cool is that we have a lot in common- she has 5 brothers and no sisters (well I think she only has like one or 2 full blood and the rest are half) and a sister that passed away. Also another cute story is that Jennifer was sad talking to her friends as they were talking about their sisters and Jennifer was sad because she doesn't have any but then she said wait no I do have sisters! I have a lot of sisters! Oh so cute! (meaning us and the sisters in the ward) and she has been really trying to stop smoking and drinking caffeine which isn't a part of the word of wisdom but she wants to because she doesn't want to put anything over God... (it was cute because Sister Pike said to me man she is doing better than me because she has been drinking caffeine to try to kick a headache) and she got this awesome priesthood blessing yesterday from our WML (Ward Mission Leader) that she will have the urge to smoke go away and something about faith.... but it was pretty powerful!

Also in Gospel Principles we watched the newly released First vision video and it is powerful and if you haven't watched it yet I encourage you to watch it! Well thanks for everything and I just love serving as a missionary and watching people literally change their lives by living the gospel!
