Sister Camille Beck Tacoma, Washington: May 8, 2017

Why hello all of you amazing people who still read my emails out there! :) Just kidding...

Well mission life is great! I'm now with Sister Tueller and I love being her companion! We work really great together and are into the same things and just have a lot of fun!

So before Sister Romney left we were going to go with the Whites clam digging but the only area open on last Monday to clam dig was in Long Beach but sadly it is out of the Mission so President said no so we got to go over instead after they clam dug for razor clams to gut them and then Sister White fried them and we had a super great dinner Monday night.

With the clams what's sad is that they are still alive before we cut off the neck part and guts.... it reminded me kinda of in Little Mermaid when the Chef says " Zutilu I have missed one... then I stuff'em with bread it won't hurt cause your dead..." haha which is sad but I feel like it is easier with clams than crabs... So ya that was fun and they were super good and what's weird but I guess common for razor clams is that you eat them fried with ketchup and ya with some yummy clam chowder! yumm! then we also went bowling as a Zone too.

So Sister Tueller is from Perry, Utah or Brigham City, Utah... and loves to play the piano so that has been fun to sing and have her play. She also loves to exercise which has been good for me because I guess it makes me feel better but I would rather sing ..... So this week I have been just feeling sad for those that choose to turn away form the truth and came upon this vs in my study's:

Alma 19:28 And thus the contention began to be exceedingly sharp among them. And while they were thus contending, the woman servant who had caused the multitude to be gathered together came, and when she saw the contention which was among the multitude she was exceedingly sorrowful, even unto tears.and that hit me going ya that's me but then I read Alma 26: 7 But behold, they are in the hands of the Lord of the harvest, and they are his; and he will raise them up at the last day.

And I realized sure it is sad to watch this but it is in the hands of the Lord and it will all work out in the end because this is Heavenly Father's work not my work. I also read this article in the April 2017 Ensign about fear and overcoming Satan and that also helped me out... I just love Heavenly Father so much and I know his timing is so perfect! It is amazing to me how it happens but it does and he needs our help to help others because he can't do everything.
