Hey everyone!!!!! Well it's beginning to look like a white
spring. The snow has been crazy... now we haven't had but like 4 inches but we
woke up to snow and it's March 6th.... in Washington.... I guess its kinda cool!
Sister Pike and I really miss Utah and the rocky mts with snow on them but hey
it's also pretty to see the snow on the evergreen trees!
So Tuesday was fun I went on exchanges with Sister Philippi
and the first miracle we saw was we were street contacting and I felt like we
should go a certain way and it led us to this bus stop and so Sister Philippi
talked to Vanessa and Phillop and it was cool because Vanessa grew up Catholic
and didn't really feel at home and then has been to other churches and didn't
really feel at home or right...well so we shared the Restoration and she loved
it and was so excited to be able to read the Book of Mormon and come to church.
Sadly she couldn't come to church yesterday because they were in Olympia but
still! Then that night I felt prompted to go to a house and she let us in and
it's always interesting when they let you in because they are either a member or
they have been taught before or they have alzheimers. (that happened two
weeks ago.... :) and so we found out she is less active and has had all of
these trials come her way that are crazy and just in a week and then to top it
off we show up.... also her fiance is not a member so we are going to try to
teach him and when we told Sister Pike about Jemma she said that she has been
trying to find her the whole time she has been here and never has so that's
cool........... and the sisters had a rough day walking 9 miles, getting lost,
and stopped talking to this guy who was very inappropriate..... so glad we didn't
have that happen to us...
Then Saturday I went back to Chambers Creek and went and saw
Gery get baptized and also married Sister Lasick so that was fun and I got to
see Gwen!!!! It was so fun and then Saturday night as we were obedient walking
till 9 pm... at 8:59 we were walking and a former investigator who disappeared
opened her door and we were able to invite her to church again and she loved it
and asked good questions about what the Sabbath day was or sacrament or
temples.... mostly gospel lingo. Also Timothy came to church for his 3rd
time and so now can get baptized Saturday!!!! So exciting! Well love ya all!

preparing to serve a mission so it was cool! or Hark all ye nations which is
pretty powerful
